Monday’s Motivation: The cause to pause

Over this past weekend, I participated in the Cherished Blogfest. The Cherished Blogfest blog hop focused on sharing cherished items. 2050006_orig I was hesitant about joining the hop because I’d not been blogging much. (My oldest heads off to college in a few weeks and I’ve completely rearranged my priority list.) But I’m so thankful I did. The Cherished Blogfest forced me to step back and take inventory of cherished items. And beyond reading many wonderful stories from other bloggers, I was left a sense of gratitude and contentment. (Many thanks to Dan AntionDamyanti BiswasPaul RuddockPeter Nena,Sharukh Bamboat for hosting).

but the realization of how much you already have.

  1. Thanks, Elsie. I’m very glad you decided to participate and that you enjoyed it as much as I did. Wouldn’t we all be better iff if we started our early education learning a few meaningful quotes like this? I might suggest that to my DIL elementary teacher. They use lots of placards on the walls but most are not ‘life lesson’ like this one.
